Using tools; “you don’t use a hammer to peel a banana” work experience
Opening cardboard boxes that have been taped, using razorblades and box cutters gave me a deeper appreciation for the physics that are part of every day life. Foot placement and walking, trusting your weight to something
Anyone who has walked on their own, or even with assistance (maybe ESPECIALLY with assistance) knows about their own weight, their balance, their limits. The problem comes in not knowing your limits, not understanding how to balance your weight properly. Because what is losing your balance other than going a little too far in one direction or angle with your weight? Understanding the surface on which your standing plays a huge role in this, and being familiar and comfortable with the footwear you have on plays a smaller, but still significant, role.
